Mashin's Fate (Meeting of the Captains)

(OOC: The Captain of every Division is required to attend except for Soifon. If the Captain has not been selected, then their lieutenant is required to attend. If there is no Captain or lieutenant, then that Division has no say in the matter as of now.)

As Kai placed the last document aside, he slowly took in a deep breath. In only a few short minutes, a meeting would be held that would decide the fate of Mashin. Many rumors had been spread as to why he was held as a prisoner, yet no one knew the real reason except for the Captains and everyone else who had been there.

Pushing in his chair, Kai made his way to the Seireitai meeting room where he was expecting to see the rest of the Captains. While he knew that not all of them would be there, because of recent missions, he would at least see their lieutenants. As he entered, the room was empty. Taking a seat at the large circular table, Kai collected his thoughts on the matter that they were soon to discuss...

It was apparent that Mashin held hallow powers which was forbidden. It was unknown as for how long he had possessed these yet it mattered not. The other matter at hand was how Soifon had hidden it from the rest of the Captains. It seemed that these were troubling times and would only get worse if drastic measures were not taken.

Kai turned to look at the door that now moved as someone entered...

Lee walked calmly through the double doors of the attended room, the doors swinging behind him gently as he entered through. He smiled politely at the 3rd division captain, giving him a light bow of respect. Looking around the room, he could see that the meeting was probably just getting started. Or was he the only one that was called here? Probably not. Lee took his seat and sat their for a moment or two, awkward silence reaching both ends of the table where the captain and vice captain sat.

Lee had gotten a sudden call from the 3rd captain about a meeting of some sort the moment he woke up. He was a little bit peeved, for he intended on having a relaxing day, but he had only the upmost respect for the captains, and Lee was a patient man. His captain was usually leading attacks somewhere in Karakura town lately, so he would attend all the formal matters.

"So... I suppose this meeting is about the arrancar?" Lee said, intending to break the silence. Even if they were the only ones there, it would be weird to just sit and wait around.

He had heard a bit about the arrancar, whom he had seen around Seretei a few times, but never thought anything of him. His name was Mashin. Lee had never thought that Mashin was an arrancar, and it surprised him a bit to know that he had been one under Soul Society's nose this whole time. Or had he been? Lee shuffled in his seat a bit, awaiting an answer.
