Power: Byakuya’s Zanpkautos name is Senbon Zakura (thousand cherry blossoms) in its unreleased form looks just like an ordinary Katana. To release his shikai Byakuya uses the simple phrase Shire•(scatter) at which point the blade of his zanpakuto seems to disappear, in actuality the blade has scattered into one thousand blades so small they can only be seen when they reflect the light and appear to twinkle in a manner extremely similar to scattered and falling cherry petals. His Bankai Senbon Zakura Kageyoshi is fundamentally the same as his shikai just with an increased level of power, after dropping his blade into the ground two rows of swords rise out of the ground next to Byakuya at which point the blades scatter again, however, in his bankai attack the sheer volume of the blades and speed of the attack mean that most people cannot even see it coming never mind actually dodging it. Byakuya’s bankai also has a final stage Hakuteiken or white imperial blade where he gathers all the scattered blades of Senbon Zakura Kageyoshi and reforms them into a single white blade.But al last, he fell to Ichigo after the horrible fight with Hollow-Ichigo. Byakuya later risked his life to protect Rukia when Gin striked her. Somehow, he survived and continue his life
Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Byakuya is masterful at swordsmanship, capable of flawless precision and lethal attacks without much effort.

Flash Step Master: Byakuya is probably best known for his usage of Flash steps. Although having been taught by but never beating "Goddess of Flash" Yoruichi Shihōin, he is still easily one of the most proficient users of this skill in all of Soul Society. One of Byakuya's favorite technique as described by Renji is Senka (Flash Blossom), a flash step combined with a spin to quickly move behind the enemy, followed by a strike aimed to destroying the Saketsu chain and the Hakusui soul sleep with a single thrust. Another technique taught to him by Yoruichi called Utsusemi which allows Byakuya to move at great speed leaving an afterimage behind, though Byakuya states to Zommari that he prefers not to use it because Yoruichi taught it to him.

Kidō Master: Byakuya has displayed his knowledge of high level Kido spells, able to cast several in quick succession without the incantation and with almost no effort and still possessing formidable power. He has been shown to use spells up to level 81 and possess advanced knowledge of kido application and consistency. He can use low-level spells with devastating effect as well as a counter to attacks.
Master Tactician: Byakuya is a highly perceptive fighter, being able to almost immediately determine an opponent's attack patterns and weaknesses. He is also crafty tactician as demonstrated from how effectively he uses his Kidō to confuse his opponents. He can discern the motives and abilities of his opponents and effectively use his knowledge to end the battle in his favor.

Enhanced Durability: While not having the most imposing appearance compared to other Shinigami captains like Kenpachi Zaraki, Byakuya has shown to be a very resilient fighter. During his fight against Ichigo, despite gaining several major injuries, Byakuya was able to continue fighting effectively and even ignore them to the point he seemed unfazed by them. At the end of fight, he was still able to perform an impressive Flash Step to leave. During his fight with the 7th Espada, Byakuya's durability proved great enough for him to willing damage himself to save himself from this enemy's possession attack and continue to fight as if unaffected.
Expert Hand-to-hand Combatant: Having been trained by Yoruichi, Byakuya possesses great proficiency in this skill, although it is rarely uses it.


Appearance: Byakuya is 5’11” and weighs about 141. He has a pale compilation and black hair. Byakuya wears the standard Captain uniform along with a white headpiece and a white scarf. The scarf is made from the silver-white, windflower light silk and is a family heirloom that is handed down from generation to generation and is given to each Kuchiki family head. Ten large houses can be built for the cost of just one of these scarves. He also wears white gloves that cover only the back of his hands.

Personality: Byakuya acts in an aristocratic manner – to other people he has cold demeanor and he tends to appear apathetic toward others. . He is also extremely calm, even in battle, and is very seldom surprised by even the most drastic of actions. Byakuya strongly believes in law and order.
Most of the situations that he is faced he rarely views his opponent worth his time. Because of his noble roots and his superior level of power Byakuya tends to carry himself with a level of arrogance and an I’m-better-than you attitude, this is clearly seen by the quite rude and often times sarcastic manner in which he talks to most people around him. Despite this trait, Byakuya is a very perceptive man and is fully aware of the limits of his abilities and usually anything he states in comparison to an opponent is justified.

Background Info:
History: Descending from the Kuchiki clan one of the four noble houses of soul society captain of the 6th division Kuchiki Byakuya is also Rukia’s older brother though they are not related by blood rather, Rukia was adopted in to the Kuchiki family.. Byakuya is also a shining example of what a shinigami should be as he is extremely law-abiding, this devotion to the law is also heightened by the fact that he is a descendant of a noble family to Byakuya it is the responsibility of the Nobles to lead by example if they do not obey the rules of Soul Society then who will. Byakuya is a nobleman to the core and appears to be unflinching in his devotion to his duty even after Rukia has been sentenced to execution. In his mind regardless of whatever conflicts he may have been feeling on the inside his duty as nobleman and a shinigami was to uphold the law and word of the 46 chambers; no feelings he may have would be allowed get in the way of his duty as a result of this his outer shell never cracks or shows anything other than his typically cold exterior.

There have only been two occasions when Byakuya stepped out of the bounds of his Noble responsibilities, firstly when he married his wife Hisana and secondly when he adopted Rukia into the Kuchiki family. His marriage to Hisana was looked down upon as she was not of noble descent and in the Kuchiki family the mixing of blood between somebody of a noble house and someone from Rukongai was forbidden, for this same reason it was also frowned upon when Byakuya adopted Rukia into the Kuchiki family. He adopted Rukia into the Kuchiki family at which point he swore to himself on his parent’s grave that he would never again break any laws or overstep the bounds of Nobility.

Byakuya first appears on a mission with his lieutenant, Renji Abarai, to capture Rukia Kuchiki and kill Ichigo Kurosaki. They succeed in retrieving Rukia, and would have easily killed Ichigo, if not for Rukia's intervention, pleading for Byakuya not to give the finishing blow. Byakuya later interrupts Ganju Shiba and Hanatarō Yamada's attempt to rescue Rukia and, later on, Renji's attempt. When Ichigo succeeded in rescuing Rukia, he and Byakuya have an extended battle, where both use their bankai. However, Ichigo's inexperience with his new release and Byakuya switching to a more powerful form leaves Ichigo at a disadvantage. It was through the temporary emergence of Ichigo's inner hollow that evened the odds out once more. Following Ichigo's inner hollow's forced submission, both channel all their remaining power into one final attack, resulting in Byakuya's sword breaking and Byakuya walking away from the fight, declaring defeat. Later, when Sōsuke Aizen orders Gin Ichimaru to kill Rukia, Byakuya pulls her out of the attack and takes it instead. While being treated, Byakuya tells Rukia why she was adopted, apologizes to her and thanks Ichigo. Afterwards, Byakuya's attitude toward Rukia changes significantly. He is seen to care for Rukia in an indirect manner and displays a new view on the idea that the law is never perfect. However, he still appears to view Ichigo with disdain.

When the Bounts' threat to harm Soul Society becomes serious, Byakuya uses the Kuchiki Clan's records to gain information on the Bount for General Yamamoto. Byakuya, aiding Rukia in her battle with Yoshi, attempts to seek out the Bount leader Jin Kariya. The two meet, and engage in a battle that is interrupted by Ichigo and, later, Rantao.

Byakuya reappears to retrieve Tōshirō Hitsugaya's team on General Yamamoto's order near the end of the Arrancar Arc, but he secretly allows Rukia and Renji to assist in Orihime's rescue. He reasons that he was only ordered to bring them back to Soul Society and that what they chose to do afterwards was none of his concern, though Ichigo and Rukia suspect otherwise. Byakuya appears later in Hueco Mundo to save Rukia from the 7th Espada, Zommari Leroux. After a quick clash using their speed, in which Byakuya is proven superior, Zommari releases his zanpakutō and takes control of Byakuya's body parts. When Byakuya cuts his left leg and arm tendons to negate the effect, Zommari turns his attention to Rukia, taking control of her body and forcing her own zanpakutō to her neck. Byakuya uses a binding spell to prevent Rukia's movement, then activates his bankai, engulfing Zommari with the millions of blades it creates. Zommari survives the attack, but finds himself powerless before Byakuya. He accuses Byakuya and all shinigami of aristocratic pride, claiming that they "slay hollows as if it were their birthright", deeming Byakuya's actions as unjust. To this, Byakuya replies that he will kill Zommari, not because of "shinigami protocol", but because he aspired to kill Rukia. He is finished off by a single strike from Byakuya's blade. Once Rukia is revived, Byakuya tells her to rest for the more important battles to come, and refuses treatment from the 4th squad lieutenant, captain, and 7th seat until Rukia is fully healed.

Rp Sample:At night time, Byakuya and his lieutenant Renji were in the human realm looking for hollows that seemed to causing havoc on the humans. Byakuya spotted a hollow near a young girl, running towards it he motion for Renji to move faster. When they reached their destination to the hollow, Byakuya in lightening speed grabbed the girl and placed her on steps far away from the battle. Byakuya went back to Renji’s side and they both looked at each other. “Shall we?” they asked at the same time, Byakuya lips curled into a half smirk, while Renji’s grin had an almost evil shine.
Shenbonzakura cried its killing instincts vibrated in the silent night. “Shenbonzakura shatter.” The blade shattered to hundred petals, which hovered around its master in a deathly dance. If one could see his Zanpkauto, they would see it the petals move soundless and seamlessly as water into earth, and thousands as blades rise up to kill the hollow, that had been very beautiful. And then… it dispersed, becoming countless blossoms, swirling like a hurricane…

Renji looked at Byakuya when he realized he didn’t get to kill the hollow, “Why must you get all the action Captain.” Byakuya gazed at Renji with an emotionless face and replied, “You were spacing out and I wasn’t going to stand by and doing nothing, let’s go we have more work to do.” Byakuya and Renji walked off into the night, ready to kill more hollows if needed.
